Excellent work!!

What type of glue did you choose out if curiosity?

Thank you
I used superglue..
Hope you wont have this problem but if you do,be careful with it,it might damage your watch,I used 2 drops on the bottom side and it still got bit dirty.

I love the new SmartWatch2 SW2. I liked the previous one, but new one is so much better. I originally planned to buy the silicone strap one and just change the strap. But the price difference was small enough and the silicone strap was arriving in a couple of days. So I went for the metal strap instead. Was worth it, looks so much better and finish is much better.

I did buy a black leather strap for it that I use every now and then, but the metal strap is nice for everyday use.

Hi everyone!

Has anyone paired the Smartwatch 2 with a Sony Xperia S tablet?

Can't work out how to do it, and have Smart Connect etc all installed on the tablet!

I have connected easily with my Xperia Z phone!

Oh! I have checked out the instructions on the Sony Site!

Any advice welcomed!

I'm looking forward to major advancements in future SW3 from Sony along with the marketing to match!

It really has to be shown to the world by Sony how feasible for a week to be worn without charging if you lead a very busy and professional lifestyle.

Buses the basics:
Time,
Date,
Alarm,
Stopwatch,
Timer,
Water resistant to say 30/50/100 meters,

Add:
Blood pressure
Glucose measurement in real time (without being pricked)
- remember there are over 50 million diabetics in the USA alone!
Heart monitor,
Phone proximity sensor (if left or stolen; enhancing security of just password, on demand or proximity encryption and de encryption upon range being re established - BT 4.0 and NFV can help here),
Time can be the phone alert mode changer, based on itinerary for the day along with GPS in th e phone used only in demand based on the time and matching appointment can save critical battery life, no need for WiFi Geofencing.
Phone alerts you to critical emails and favorite listed sms only during meetings. Let's say your being a single father, your little girl is 10-14 at school doesn't feel well or insecure has certain key words in VM (working with providers in VM to text) or just in the sms prompts you! You can discreetly and verifiably prove to your team or boss of the criticality and everyone around only sees you showing your watch to your boss thru think it's a pre engagement you need to a attend whole th emboss just nods his or her head and off you're racing barely missing a beat!

There is so much real world scenarios that an ideal smartwatches can help in our lives by enhancing our smartphones without being gimmicky like the Samsung Gears ability to take garbage crap photos!!

Now add to that the existing plethora of apps currently available to the SW2.

The most important thing for future watches beyond being able to do 90% of what I've mentions above at the very least is:

A common programing language and environment that is NOT specific to any one platform!
Fashion make the smartwatches really fashionable for both woman and men yet can still look cool being sporty - think of the 2nd generation watches made and the current SW2 - imagine a cross breed analog with perfect digital overlay or digital that is incredible dpi LCD to mimic analog to perfection.
5 day minimum usability!

Top 3 platform supoort!
IOS
Android
Be it BB10 or Windows Phone or maybe all 4!

Hi,

I have a question, Is smartwatch 2 worth buying? i still have my liveview but i don't use it anymore, and i have never tried the 1st generation of smartwatch, I would like it to pair to my Xperia TX, but i read a lot of users complaining about the watch separating from the frame? and/or spring bars that are accidentally detach itself?

Hi arcmhyke, I had both the previous SmartWatch and the current SW2. Even the previous SmartWatch was a big improvement over LiveView, mainly due to the splash-proof case. Washing your hands was no longer an issue.

The SW2 is a lot better than the 1st SmartWatch. Although I feel it's more suited for guys (since it's much bigger, but if you're a girl who wears large watches, then it's not an issue)

So far, I've had mine for about 2 months with no connectivity issues (Xperia P) or broken parts. Here's my review on it, in case you're interested. Tech Gospel According to John: SmartWatch2 Review

Nice Review Thanks, How much is the price difference of Metal Strap over Silicone? Sony Center sells it for 8,990 but don't know what kind of strap is included though.

It's a lot less in popular online stores (WC, KS)

The Sony store is good for warranty, and if you plan to get it on installment
